Green Sun Prince is specifically a Solar Exalted twisted by the Yozis for their own dark purposes. They have access to powers beyond even the Exalted akuma and retains her free will.
An Akuma is a mortal or Exalt transformed into a slave of the Yozis in exchange for enormous power.
