TODO no western witches, use Japanese witches. They are a bit like magical girls, but in reverse: the witch is a cat or a fox (come up with other animals) which can take a human form.

Witch (魔女, majō) is a spellcaster whose powers are bestowed by the devil or some other supernatural being, such as a female goddess. Witches gain their powers through rituals and using magical tools.
As a witch, you need to perform a short ritual whenever you finish a Long Rest. Then you can change your list of prepared spells, replacing any of the spells there with other witch spells for which you have spell slots.
Your spell focus is a magical tool you have consecrated for use. Most common ones are pentacle, sword or knife, wand, chalice or a goblet, or a broom.
