Inugami (Yaranaika)
Inugami are yōokai doggirls (or -boys), with a varying amount of doglike traits. All have scent and resilience of dogs. Otherwise, some look like humans, some have just dog ears, some have snout, fur and tails, and so on. You decide how doglike your character is in appearance.
Inugamis' relationships with Nekogami are conflicting. If an inugami and a nekogami meet each other, they may hate or love the other. In any case, it's rarely an ordinary companionship.
