Duration: 1 round
Caster creates a bright, flower-like ball of light on their palm. It then bursts, making a loud bang like fireworks. The sound startles every enemy within 10 feet of you. They need to make a Wisdom saving throw, DC 12, or suffer the Frightened condition for one round.
The burst also illuminates a spread of 20 feet radius around you with Bright Light, and 20 feet more with Dim Light for one round, until the start of your next turn.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The range of frightening sound increases by 10 feet, and the spread of illumination increases by 20 feet, for each spell slot level above 1.
Another nickname for this spell is "flash-bang".
