Prerequisite: Gaijin Background

As a non-Asian-looking foreigner, you have an innate ability to intentionally or accidentally break through Japanese (also Chinese, and Korean) customs and rules with little-to-no repercussion.

This feature is often used while you are moving. For example, you can walk past a guard, pretending to not understand what he is saying; the guard is distracted by your appearance (and often, superior height) and doesn't dare to interfere. The target makes a Wisdom saving throw against DC of 13 + your Proficiency bonus. On a failure, target is Stunned for one round. After the first round is over, target can attempt a new saving throw at the end of each of their own turns, ending the effect with a successful save. If you want to Smash more than one targets, they all gain Advantage to the saving throw.

Be creative and come up with ways to use this feat, keeping the essence of the feat in mind. GM might disallow a too far-fetched attempts.

Targets that are well used to foreigners cannot be Gaijin Smashed.

This feat is named in honor of the blogger Azrael, who is an American formerly teaching English in Japan through the JET program and blogged about his life and the many odd experiences he had with the different culture. I followed his blog from the very start.[1][2]
