Amazon
Amazons are exceptionally tough humans, who start their training
from pre-birth. Only female amazons are ever born; amazons select
human males as their mates, seeking the finest specimens to procreate
their children.
- Amazon characters possess the following racial traits.
- Medium Humanoid.
- +2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom.
- Medium size. Amazons have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Amazon's base land speed is 30 ft.
- 1 extra feat at 1st level.
- 4 extra skill points at 1st level and 1 extra skill point at each additional level.
- Speak with Animals (Su) at will, as the spell, cast
as a 1st-level Druid.
- Nerve Pinch (Ex): On a successful hit an amazon grabs special
nerve centers within a creature's neck, causing unconsciousness for
1d4 minutes. Only living creatures with nerves, a neck, and less
than 15 HD can be affected. Target gets a Fortitude save,
DC 10 + ½ the amazon's HD (rounded down). Maximum save DC is 20.
This is an unarmed attack, so the target may get an attack of opportunity.
- Amazons have a +4 racial bonus on Climb checks. An amazon
can always choose to take 10 on Climb checks, even if rushed or threatened.
- Automatic Languages: English. Bonus Languages: Any (except secret languages such as Druidic).
- Favored Class: Any. When determining whether a multiclass amazon
takes an experience point penalty, his or her highest-level class
does not count.
- Level Adjustment: +1.
Aquarian
Aquarians look mostly like humans, but they have a blue-green tint to
their thick skin.
- Aquarian characters possess the following racial traits.
- Medium Humanoid (Aquatic).
- +4 Strength, +2 Dexterity.
- Medium size. Aquarians have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Aquarian's base land speed is 20 ft. They have a swim speed of 30 ft.
- 1 extra feat at 1st level.
- 4 extra skill points at 1st level and 1 extra skill point at each additional level.
- Amphibious (Ex): Aquarians can survive indefinitely outside water.
- Blindsight (Ex): Aquarians can "see" by emitting high-frequency
sounds, inaudible to most other creatures, that allow them to locate
objects and creatures within 120 feet. A silence spell negates this
and forces the aquarian to rely on its vision, which is approximately
as good as a human's.
- Telepathy (Su): Aquarians can communicate telepathically with
any aquatic creature within 20 ft.
- Vulnerability to fire (Ex): Aquarians take 50% extra damage from all
fire attacks.
- +2 natural armor bonus.
- Aquarians have a +8 racial bonus on Swim checks. An aquarian
can always choose to take 10 on Swim checks, even if rushed or threatened.
- Automatic Languages: English. Bonus Languages: Any (except secret languages such as Druidic).
- Favored Class: Any. When determining whether a multiclass aquarian
takes an experience point penalty, his or her highest-level class
does not count.
- Level Adjustment: +1.
