Christians Vs Non Christians

Allright I think that this could be an interesting arguement. So are you a non christian who is tired of the ignorant fascism of christianity or are you a christian who hates all who don't conform to christianity?

Depends upon what you call a 'christian'.

Take me for example;

Q; Do I go to church?
A; No I don't, so that must make me a non-christian and therefore evil.

Q; Do I play role-playing games?
A; Yes, It's something I enjoy doing for a few hour a week, so that must also mean I'm evil.

Q; Do I worship the devil or any other demonic figures?
A; No, absolutely not. I think that the devil and hell are old wives tales best left in literature and movies such as The Omen, or Dante's Divine Comedy. That must make me a little less evil.

Q; Would I help somebody in need if I were able to, regardless of colour or creed?
A; Absolutely, yes! If it were in my power to help somebody then I'd help them as much as I could and hope that they would feel equally inclined to do the same for me.
Now if I'm an evil non-church going, role-playing non- christian, why would I help somebody?

Q; Am I homophobic?
A; No, live and let live I say. I don't actually have any immediate Homosexual friends but I have been introduced to Homosexual couples through mutual aquaintances and I have gotten along with them just fine. So does that make me more evil, or more christian-like for being more tolerant?

So, np, What do you think? am I an evil person or a good person?

As far as I'm concerned I live my life and try to be the best person that I know how to be.
Surely, when we strip away all the hypocracy of religion, that, more than anything else, should be what being a christian is all about?

I agree with Mandragon, it's the same for me as well...
I don't think that quoting the bible, damning everything and preaching "The End is Nigh!!!!" is really christian, and surely intolerance is not christian, nor is discrimination.
Mandragon, a non-christian, would help a person, or animal in need, regardless of colour, or background without hesistation.
On the other side, Niilo( and his followers) would only help a true christian, if he was white, Arian( in niilo's words Atlantean descendant), and agreed to everything he said. The rest may burn in hell forevermore...
So, what do you prefer to be? Non-christian, or Niilo-Christian?

Good christians do not hate anyone, but show brothery love for each other - which includes doing our best to protect their immortal souls from all the evil and sin that can lead them to eternal damnation!

How in a mordern civillized world could such oppresive attitudes towards an individual possibly be for that person's 'own good'?

After all, if the biggest crime in the world today was that somebody didn't believe in god, then I for one believe that the world would be a much better place.

As it is, the world is full of real crime and it is these perpetrators who need to be ostracised from society, not somebody whose religious outlook differs from somebody else's.

Hell is much more oppressive. It doesn't really matter how badly an individual is treated in his life as long as he avoids Hell, because Hell is always worse and, unlike life, eternal. This is nothing but a logical conclusion.

You are using too much common sense. Read more Bible and pray. It will make you all happy and you'll see everybody gets what they deserve. It's just reasonable you have to believe in, love and obey your Creator, who in His great wisdom gave you free will with the ability to reason. If you don't, He'll throw you in Hell. That's what He has sent us to help you avoid.

Look I am tieard of all this. The world would be alot better off if we didn't hve these twits telling us witch way to pee. I say that we should just end hs argumemnt becuse of thhese resons.
