aheemm, i will just ignore the unrefined insults and go straight to the point...
Well... action and reaction. Just see this kind of insults as an reaction of the insults you posted before...

the general image of santa with horns and goat legs does not come from the bible, that idea rather comes from pan or the celtic horned god, just like the image of hell as an underground world of the dead proberly comes from scandinavian cultures "hel" (it's basicly the same word). the bible does not give a clear definition of hell or the devil, only hints of what happend to evil people when they die and whos the enemies of God, and that's not working for a culture imperialistic invasion army, so we just used your religious symbols, inverted into something bad, against you to build a bridge to heaven. so from a christian point of view santa equals both "the horned god", hel and most other heathen ideas.((naughty name) is not santa/devil in christian, btw, the tempter of Jesus on the mountian takes that role,)

As for santa in relation to Christianity, here some interesting links:
Did santa Make Christianity?
santa & Christianity
santa's power in hardcore Christianity
The Impatience of Job

Interesting things to read...

but i didn't insult anybody besides you, i know i called you a demon, but i know now it is not true thanks to our coherent and mutual understanding communication  Smiley , i find you a fine person and i love you just like Jesus loves you.
but did you agree or disagree with the ideas of the rest of my post, or the perspective on them?, i know you are against my religious preferece but it would be better with argumentation to follow up on your opinion.

I cannot say I am fully agree or disagree with what you said. I know parts of what you said are true (as for example that Pan, the Greek God of The Forest is merely the image we have of santa or the Devil now). Others parts I cannot give an opinion on, because I don't know for sure and I must look deeper into it.

What is this? Another failed attempt of being funny?

But you know what? I will even take the effort to explain what I meant with that line.

In many of the Pagan Schools one or more Gods/Goddess are assumed to exsist. As you should know by now, I don't think any god exsists.
But there are some Pagan Schools that believe in the powers of Nature itself without personify them into a god or something. If there is something on the matter of religion I feel related to then it is that... which goes perfectly along with my opinions about Evolution and other things I am convinced of.

i know I shouldn't let it get to me but is hard sometimes, these people are very narrow minded( my mother always remindeds that they are).  Although it is nice to know not everyone is narrow minded!

Well, I never said that the image came from the bible, just that it came from Christians. That's interesting info though. Thanks.

You americans have the freedom to live your lives, unlike in the europe for example. Americans are the God's chosen people, so you should always follow his word, otherwise you're nothing more than european barbarians!
